Nobeltec Passport Deluxe
is the only electronic charting package that includes digitized
versions of both vector and raster official NOAA charts, navigation
photos and Passport Bathy Maps™ all in one box. These regions
also include a copy of Nobeltec's eChart Planner™ software
so you can plan routes with waypoints and then print them out
for use on-board. In addition, Passport Deluxe comes with navigation
data such as daily weather downloads, one year of tide and current
predictions for all of North America, NOAA coast pilots, streets
and roads and a World port index.
For West Coast Canadian waters,
Passport Deluxe Canada provides vectorized versions of CHS charts,
15 meter Navigation Photos, a Ports and Services database and
Tides & Currents for the region. Also new for 2004, Region
P1 now has selected charts of popular cruising areas for the
West Coast of Vancouver Island and P2 includes selected areas
of Graham Island. Coverage in these areas is now better than
ever.
Passport Deluxe Bahamas offers
the best chart coverage ever offered for the Bahamas, Bermuda,
Abacos and Turks and Caicos Island with vectorized versions of
Dodge, Explorer and Wavey Line charts. In addition, Passport
Deluxe Bahamas also includes sub-meter navigation photos that
show the Bahamas chain in incredible detail.
Each Passport Deluxe region contains
a World Folio of vector charts on CD-ROM and includes a voucher
good for a single coverage area that can be redeemed on the web
or by telephone. All additional navigation data comes on a separate
and included CD(s).

Nobeltec Navigation software uses Bathy Maps in three ways.
Bathy Map usage
• Nobeltec RouteWizard: This
tool makes creating
routes as easy as 1-2-3!
Simply click your starting
and ending waypoints,
enter the route parameters
(such as depth settings),
and the RouteWizard will
automatically draw
the route for you.
• 3D Navigator: Shows your
surrounding area as a
full color three-dimensional
grid. Choose from a
variety of settings
including the ability to see a
Passport vector chart
overlaid on top of a 3D grid.
• ShadedRelief: Using the
Passport Bathy Map data,
this feature allows
you to create a two-dimensional
topographic map on
top of Passport vector charts.
• Near Land Contours: This feature
allows you to
create your own near-land
contour lines on Passport
vector charts.

by Nobeltec software versions 6.0 and later. If you are using
version 6.0, you need to install the 6.5 Feature Pack which can
be found on the enclosed World Folio CD. Nobeltec eChart Planner
software is included inside each Passport Deluxe package for
planning purposes.
